Grendelsmom Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 A year back the boyfriend who was my sun and moon broke up with me without any proper explanation. I did not fight back because i was too egoistical. i tried to move on. I started getting feelers from his friends that he was unhappy about being away from me. Realising hes never going to ask me directly i started dating someone. That someone is a great guy..treats me well, pampers me but is very obsessed with me. now ex comes back...and so do my feelings. but i try to move away from both...and both are trying to get me back. I feel like **** for letting my ex into my mind again...and for dumping a poor soul whose world revolved around me. what do i do?
I-Love-Liberty Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Flip a coin. LOL jk. So are you considering get back with the 1st guy? and if so ask yourself why, and try to articulate to yourself why you think it could work and if you'd be happy. There is a difference between LOVE and Desire/Obsession, it sounds like both of them might have issues there and you gotta know what you're looking for too.
thompkevin Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Don't date anyone for a while. Take some time for yourself. Enjoy the single life for a month or two and then decide what you want in life.
Inspiteofrselves Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Well, clearly if you're thinking this, you should really let guy 2 go. He probably is wonderful. You probably do mean the world to him. He deserves someone who loves him, and only him, no questions asked. The most loving thing you could do is let him go. The real question is, do you love guy 1? If you do, go for it. It will probably be really difficult for a long time, but love conquers all. If you don't love him, I mean LOVE HIM-- try being alone for a while.
