I've been with my gf whom I love for the greater part of 3 years. We have had our ups and downs, but recently my feelings towards my gf have been changing. I don't feel that same level of attraction or chemistry I used to feel. I love my gf and she is my best friend... but that's the problem, I am viewing her more as my best friend. We share so many interests and friends in common and she is a very good companion, but it hurts to admit that I don't feel that attraction any more. Within the past year, she has gained a bunch of weight and I have been proactive in trying to nudge her into being more active by exercising with her and eating well...but she doesn't share the same motivation. What do I do? Stick it out with her and hope that a spark is rekindled?

Case in point, a counter point to the "People having their chemistries mixed up"
