on the edge Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 ...amazing the things you find out after your stbx moves out and you start talking to friends and family. all the lies and deceit. to make things worse it goes back further than i would have ever imagined!!! all this coming from a guy that said he would never screw around because it had happened to him or be dishonest/hurtful in anyway. yeah right!!! i have never felt so angry or betrayed like i do right now! also like the biggest fool in the world. i would really like to rip this guy a new a*#hole right now! grrrrrr!! so why are we always the last to find out that who we thought was mr. right was really mr. liar liar ?!?

Plus, when you don't expect it and aren't looking for it - you often don't see it. Love is a wonderous thing - the downside is that love is also blind. I surely know I've been down that path.

I come home from work a few days later and he's packed all his belongings and left me. After he left I found bits and pieces of things that showed me he was lying to me. In fact the last time I talked to him he told me we'd talk later because he didn't want to be late for work...funny thing he was fired 5 days earlier so he lied to me for an entire week. So I was blind sided and was left with nothing but a note for the 4 years plus that we spent together!!

EC Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 Yup been there. My first love and I reunited and he had a gf. But after seeing me he told me he was still inlove with me and all this garbage and I said I would not return to him because he had a gf. Well a week later he told me he broke up with her and we hing out for a month. Had sex again. And he would always leave to use the phone or something but I was so happy to have my love back I was non the wiser. Come to find out, he never broke up with her, he told her he was away for a month visiting family members, and grrrr I was played like such a fool. Love is blind. And then I found out more things and it just really sux.
