I'mLostInTheStars Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 We started talking on a teen chat forum. We have been talking for about a year. He's 15 and I'm 14. We have eachother on Skype and we go on webcam and call eachother. (Nothing dirty). He's amazing at giving advice and we have loads of jokes together. The only problem is that he lives in California and I live in England! I'll never be able to meet him! He always says that he will wait until we're older so we can meet. But I hate getting my hopes up. And the worst part is, He will probably get a girlfriend and we will stop talking.. No one knows about this. I don't tell my friends because they'll be freaked out. I know I'm young but still.. hmm idk.
emi Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 you are both two young for this. I dont think its a good idea to embark yourself in this jorney that this stage of life. You will probably can sense it leads to failure. Why need put your heart in risk of something like that? Maybe you can continue in later time of your life. Now its isnt practical. Just keep the casual friendship. And see how it go 2

Let me give you a bit of advice. First of all teenagers go through boyfriends/girlfriends like a revolving door. How do I know this? Well, I was a young teenager once and so was any other person replying to your thread. In a couple years this guy will be in your rearview mirror. You will have grown up and have met someone else. So will he. Just be careful when you chat on line kid. Your young and there are a lot of not so nice people that troll chat lines looking for vulnerable people to take advantage of. I'm not saying that you are but please be careful ok? 2
