I'm taking everyones advice on having no contact with my ex. It has always been hard to read him because he will block my number after a fight and when I email him a few times we end up working things out. I never know if he actually means it or not. Well not this time. If he is going to block my number and tell me he doesn't want to be with me and wishes me luck, I'm moving on. He never does anything to show me he cares and if he wants to talk, he knows my number. His birthday is on the 23rd of this month. When he doesn't get a happy birthday from me he will know that I have moved on. We'll see if he ever contacts me. For now I am going to focus on finding someone new to hang out with for fun so it will keep my mind off of things. I have always held back on hanging out with another guy incase we work things out but really I have nothing to feel guilty about. He is the one who ended things. Thanks everyone for the great advice. The quote someone posted about "if you're going to die, die with your boots on" really stuck out in my mind. That is what I'm going to do.

Your intent is the move on, which is great! But you still have a open spot for this guy in your heart still. I sense if he contacts you even though a NC is in place you would allow this contact still between you.

 

This would not be recommend. He ended your relationship for a reason, and your lost trust and respect for him. Promises from him have been broken. As for his birthday it works both ways! The truth is he will now understand how your importance in his life was and without you also. This man you just have to leave in the past and just take this experience and put it behind you!

 

The NOW, is now the most current time you are in with a new intent and focus on a more positive side which will make your life enlighten. There is another man you will respect and make you feel wonderful again! I wish you the best in your next new start!
