I'm such a fool, think she caught me in my own lie.

First off I'm kind of insecure on the point that I usually date girls who know nothing about me because I'm 23 and living at home. I mostly date girls who live 60 miles away in the big city. My current gf is the first girl that I've dated from my hometown except when I was in high school and I met her at my place of work. She asked me where I lived and for some reason I said I was living in a small log cabin, out in the woods that didn't have any power.

 

The next time I seen her we had a great time. She came into visited me at work while I was on my break and I told I would call her on Friday. I called today and I could tell that something was off. We never had such awkward conversation and this was unbearable. I get to my house and my mom tells me that some girl had called which didn't make any sense because I only got calls through my cell phone. I thought maybe it was some insurance or something and I check with my brother and the way he explained it had to be my current gf.

 

Not only does she know that I lied to her. But somehow she must have had her mom who works were I do, get my home phone number. Because my mom and stepdad have a different last name than what I do. It may not have even been her, but either I ask her and the truth comes out, I try to forget about it, or say something like we need a break from this relationship. What to do?

Why not just arrange a date with her and on the date tell her you are really sorry that you lied about where you lived but you were a bit embarrassed and didn't want her to think less of you for living at home still. Then see what she has to say about it. She will probably understand. Don't turn this into a big drama, just come clean and see if you guys can carry on

You lied because you're 23 and live at home? Of FFS. Dude big deal. Just tell the chick the truth for crissakes. She either accepts it or she doesn't.
