I'm six months into separation now. It might not have lasted this long if I had done this from day one.

 

KEEP A JOURNAL/DIARY!

 

Get a little diary app on your phone. Anything!

 

Every feeling or emotion you have, write it in there instead.

If you don't, you're likely to do what I did.

*Fire these negative feelings that have come from anger and pain at your partner. Making your situation worse.

*Tell anyone who will listen. Trust me, you will find out many of your friends and family can't be trusted.

*Bottle up problems so they grow and distort into monsters that don't necessarily exist.

 

For the sake of your futures, please learn from my mistakes.
