why does my girlfriends mom get mad at her when she tries to be honest with her?

Well my girlfriend tries to be honest to her mom then her mom doesn't want to hear it. And it's hard for my girlfriend to approach her mom about anything. My girlfriend wants to move out cause she can't take the stress any longer. Me n my girlfriend want to get our marriage license but I don't know how to tell her mom without her getting more angry.

Honest about what? About getting married? Why does mother need to be part of this decision? How old are you both? I feel like a critical part of the story is missing here... please explain

Yeah Broncos38, it doesn't feel like we're getting the full story here.

 

What IS the point of contention here?

 

Is this some family dysfunctionality about everyday junk or does her mom not approve of your relationship?
