GirlontheLam Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I was chatting with a few female friends, about one of our least favorite scenarios in online dating (and other early stage relationships.) I think, ladies, you all know what I am talking about. The p***s pic. 90% of the time its not impressive. Really it is TMI. Especially if I haven't met you. And I'd rather see it in real life, before pics start flying around. Chime in, how do you feel about these pics?
cif Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Disgusting. A pic does nothing for me. If youve seen one youve seen them all. And i block guys that send those.
NoMoreJerks Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 wait. you mean they send you pen*s pics on OLD?!?!? Disgusting. Can't say I've ever had that happen to me. Then again I only respond to very intellectual types, who can write long messages from the very start.

Then again I only respond to very intellectual types, who can write long messages from the very start. You'd be surprised how quickly some people will send these pics. I only reply to people who actually write messages. Still happens. Or it happens a little later when you move from message to text. It has happened to all of my friends on a semi-regular basis. ***I am a nerd, and my pics are very tame. I.E. my mom would not have issues with them.

And hilarious at the same time. I just don't know who told them this was a good way to increase there conversions. </end rant> I just got one from a guy who was actually complaining that most of the time no one has a real conversation with him. Hahaha. We were having a real conversation, and then it was "surprise here it is!" I had no words.
nescafe1982 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Guys that do that on OLD are the same type of dudes that would probably force a woman. It's just good they out themselves as scumbags early on. No need to waste time on them. Also, anyone ever notice those guys are usually, well... um... small?
heartshaped Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Also, anyone ever notice those guys are usually, well... um... small? From the ones I've gotten I really couldn't tell anything. Ever notice they never include a point of reference? If it's a close up of your d*ck if there isn't something else in the pic how am I supposed to be impressed at how big it is??? Or maybe it's supposed to be like one of those optical illusions..looks big in the picture, but in real life... At any rate, all jokes aside, I find this absolutely disgusting, but I'm glad when guys do it so then I know they are not worth my time before I actually go out with them. 1
mammasita Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Ew. I forward them to all my friends when I get them and we laugh hysterically. Men who do that before meeting or before being exclusive aren't worth a damn IMO. Attention seekers. It's equivalent, in a sense, to a woman who sleeps with a man very early on thinking that the act alone will keep him around.
gaius Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 If youve seen one youve seen them all. So offensive. I'm glad most of the women are specifying their disgust only at guys they don't know all that well yet.
robaday Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I was chatting to a woman on an online site. We exchanged emails and she asked if we could exchange pictures.....I was like sure..so sent her some smart ones of me, you know wearing a suit, or doing some kind of sport or whatever she sent me some of her naked with a whip in her mouth.....another with her wearing a g string....i was like cool!! so we didnt talk for a week and I asked her how things were going and she asked me to save her from these idiots who kept sending her penis pics.....ah the hypocrisy! 1
mammasita Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 So offensive. I'm glad most of the women are specifying their disgust only at guys they don't know all that well yet. HAHAHAHA! If I'm dating exclusively and/or in a relationship - I'm all about keeping it SPIIIIIICY 1
EasyHeart Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Please, please, PLEASE tell me this thread is a joke. Please!!!
happywithlife Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 This thread is not a joke. Had that happen to me once when I moved the conversation from OLD emails to text. Funniest part about it was it was a limp pic! And, the only thing the guy got from it was having his number blocked!
brittneyfoster Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I guess I am a prude, but I've never asked for a picture. I have never been interested in them. That's gross. SMH. What kind of women or rather GIRLS are you talking to?
Philosoraptor Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 As I've said before the proper response to this is: "Can you zoom in some? I can't see a thing" 2
EasyHeart Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 If it's not a joke, then I think the answer is pretty simple: If a guy sends you that kind of picture, never communicate with him again. Ever. NEXT!!! 1
cif Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 ALL penises have the same anatomy. Sorry if that offends but youll have to go back to your maker on that one. Now what guys do with it is another ball game. Only sad, pathetic men send those pics...esp. when we dont know eachother. Luckily my harrassers have known better than to send limp pics :eek. Whats the message? You do nothing for me? Lol
white Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 It's the done thing now. I've been told I'm weird for not doing it. By a couple guys who were dickholes in general, I'll add. But they do get laid a lot. Even taking a picture like this, I'd feel excruciatingly embarrassed for myself and like a giant douchebag. Let alone sending it. At any stage of a relationship. It's so tasteless and grim I can't even express it. I don't care if I haven't moved with the times; my advice to anyone receiving pictures like that is to block, ignore, hide, take every step possible to eliminate that sort of influence from their lives, because it can only be for the better all round. 2
cif Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I guess your friends are looking for a certain response.. and these shots are the new emoticons

Now what guys do with it is another ball game. Please. Some are fat, some are thin. Some are tall and some are short. Some even have scoliosis and curve to one side. They all have their own distinguishing features. I don't think I've ever seen another penis that looks just like mine. But then again some think black people all look alike!
manji123 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Yeah as a guy, I'm beyond mystified this. When I first entered the dating scene I became aware that this was a thing. The weirdest thing I had happen was a girl, whom I had gone out with once, texted me a photo of her boobs and asked for a photo of myself. I dropped all communication after that. I just don't get it and never will. I want to know what the motivation is behind it.
clia Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I was sitting at a bar last Sunday watching football with one of my single girlfriends, and we were casually chatting with the guys next to us. One of the guys said "I want to show you something," and pulled out his phone and showed us a picture of his penis. This was completely unsolicited, the conversation to that point had been about the game, not anything at all sexual. It was really, really weird. This guy was about 35 years old.
ASG Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I... I can't even... I have a "collection" of such pics I've been collecting over the years... but they're all from guys whose dicks I'd seen live PRIOR to getting a pic. Getting a pic from a guy I don't know, specially if unsolicited is just such a turn off I'd block him instantly. And I'm no prude... But that is just... disrespectful! 1

I guess for some people, technology has torn down any shred of decency or social propriety. He was sitting there in a public place, had he whipped it out for display he would've been kicked out, yet he felt it perfectly acceptable to show a photo on his phone. Personally, I share much, MUCH less online or via any form of electronic communications than I do in person. Probably why I bombed in OLD but that's fine. I don't post/write/text/share anything online that I wouldn't do in person, but I guess plenty of people do.
