Hate to admit it, but I've always been a nice guy. When woman 'lets just be friends' me, I've accepted it and continued on my life as said girl then hooks up with my friends etc.

This latest girl, I said enough was enough. When given 'that speech', I made a quick exit - 'oh well, it was good while it lasted, catchya around' followed by the 'No thanks, I have enough friends' when she wanted to keep being friends. I wasn't going to be a doormat for another round.

Now I am inexperienced here because this is foreign waters for me. So far I have not contacted her nor plan to. When I bump into her, I give a warm smile and hi but then continue on my way. A higher force must be watching over me because every time I bump into her, I'm with a large group of friends and the majority being female too.

Now comes the wierd part. She has invited me to this party that numbers only in the 20's which is small considering her and the organisers number of friends and colleagues etc. I am also recieving pics of her partying with guys and pretty sure she tried to call me on another friends phone that night.

So what does the above indicate? Is it because guys never say no to woman (this one in particular I'd rate as 9/10) and when we do, it gets her hamster wheel spinning? Or am I over thinking this?

Pretty much this.

If you need a more in-depth explanation I actually do have experience with this type of behavior.

She doesn't want you.

But she can't handle the fact you don't want her because everyone wants her.

So, she will keep trying to pull you in and make you one of her many orbiters.

She is what is called an attention whore.

Ignore her.

Again, she doesn't want you.

She just wants you to want her.

If she wanted you, she would of never let you walk away after you turned down her offer of friendship.

She is to be ignored.

Phineas is right. Complete attention whore used to getting her way with men. When a guy like you walks away she can't rationalize it. In her mind who are you to have the nerve to not want her. That's how she thinks. All she wants is for you to chase her and want her. She may throw you some crumbs here and there to make it seem like she likes you, but all she wants is your attention.

2nd everything that has been said here

OP - run for the hills!

Do not - and I repeat - do NOT waste even a single call/text/even thought on this woman. She is pure trouble and if you somehow let her get under your skin, you'll only suffer.

Continue saying "hi" with a smile when you meet her while you keep walking. Ignore any of her contact attempts and invites (no need for explanations - just say "no thx" at most). If she tries to stop you when you bump into each other, tell her "sry but I'm busy, gotta go" and bail

For future reference - whenever you see similar behavior from a woman, drop her immediately. Bitches like her are not worth the trouble.

The ONLY time when you should spend time with women like her (if she's really a 9/10) if when you can **** her "for free" as in: no strings attached. In that case, feel free to hang out with her as much as you want. However, the key here is to keep it emotionless. Once you start developing even a glimmer of a feeling for her in such a situation, blow it off and bail immediately.

This may sound cold but it's the truth and it's worked for me more times than I can count.

Been there. You're supposed to be grovelling at her feet, not acting like a man. She needs you for emotional validation as she is insecure.

Let her find another doormat and go meet your 10/10.

As everyone else is saying. Run for the hills and don't give her anymore of your time. Sounds like you have a good social life so I bet your a person a woman would want to spend time with. She sounds too busy playing games with you and that could go on and on. While she's doing her game you could find someone worthwhile. So what if she's a 9/10. She clearly has mental issues. Forget her and move her on.
