ses Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 This guy and I are good friends. I'm 25, and he's 29. There's a mutual sexual attraction but we're not committed. Is it possible to just be friends without the possibility of feelings developing? Can two friends genuinely have a FWB arrangement? Two couples I know started off as FWB and are now engaged. I know these type of arrangements can end badly due to unrequited feelings. We genuinely enjoy each other's company and I can't imagine just hanging out only in the bedroom since we're friends.
soccerrprp Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Can two friends genuinely have a FWB arrangement? Yes. It must be made clear that it is a FWB and that no commitment is expected nor desired. I had such a relationship with a "friend" and continue to be friends after having moved on. We're both dating someone else and committed to our current partners. So, yes if the expectations are made realistic and up-front. But, of course, as you are aware, if one begins to have stronger feelings, it can be messy and result in the end of whatever friendship there is or was.
