The next morning, he texted me good morning etc and also "you are short :)" I responded pretty positively, not taking offense or anything - "wow and I was hearing heels.. Kinda sad haha." I'm 5'1" for reference. I also added, "can't believe that's the only thing you remembered about me. :(" and he replied, "of course there are other things.. I've always known u were beautiful. :)" So just curious - when guys make observations about a girls short/petite stature, can it be a compliment. Do guys think short girls are cute? Ps he's 5'11. To me that wise crack was really unnecessary from him. I would move on to someone who likes you for you and not about how your height is. I know it had troubled you also, what wouldn't it. Lots of guys out there that would be happy to have a girl like you and that's what counts both ways.

You shouldn't worry about that. It's fine. It could be he was just surprised when he saw you in person, since you never met face to face before. He was just teasing you. I like short girls. I've never heard a guy complain about a girl being less attractive because of height.

Hes not going to text her some love story telling her how beautiful her soul is. Plus every girl loves compliments and I think the height thing is one. I am only 5'1 95lbs and on almost every date I have gone on a guy always mention how tiny and petite I am!

For example, you have two women with the same measurements for bust, waist and hip. One is short and the other is tall. The lateral curve from the bust to the waist to the hip will appear more curvy on the short woman than on the tall woman, because the curve is more compressed due to the shorter distance.

I wouldn't reject a girl just for being short, but it's definitely a negative for me at this point. Maybe because all of the short girls that have liked me, I haven't liked them for various reasons.

It's one of life's cruel jokes. I prefer brunettes. The most success I have is with blondes. I'm a blonde magnet when I don't want to be. I want to taste the rainbow. Why do my 5'11'' friends have to swoop in and go after them too? From what I've seen, most couples tend to be within 2-3 inches of each other. Anything more is usually tough to deal with in terms of kissing and eye contact etc. For all the talk about how dreamy tall men are or how manly men feel when they are with very short women, people end up with someone of height similar to theirs.
