Why does an ex boyfriend talk about his fwb with his ex girlfriend.

I was just wondering why do ex boyfriends talk about their fwb/new girlfriends with their ex girlfriend?

 

Is this normal?

 

My ex and I have been separated for a year and 3 months. We were together for 6 yrs.when he broke up with me we stated we will try to be friends. We have talked through out our break and have hung out a couple times. A month after our break up he had a fwb for 8 months and then broke it off for a few and now he is back with her. We went into no contact for a month and then started to pick talking again. Just normal every day convo. He went hunting and stated that she got a doe but it took off etc. I told him I didn't want to hear about her.

 

I still love this man so much and I just don't want to hear her name. Its like he is throwing her in my face. How do men go from a 6 yr relationship with feelings to now no feelings?
