The pain the confusion, the fact she deleted me on some social media sites, which did not deserve, etc is driving me crazy, it is affecting my graduate program big time. In retrospect she was very immature still hung up about an ex. Her last words to me where don't be a stranger, what exactly does she mean by this? . However, nearly everyone I talked to said not to contact her. I am thinking to contact her just to tidy me over until I see a professional. What do ye think? It's about 4 weeks since we last contacted, as I was moving away. I really thought I would get a txt asking how was doing in my new grad program. What to do I dont. know. Temporary relief until I see counsellor or not to do it. It's crazy how much I miss her.

Trust me, the relief will last a second, and make you feel miles worse! Don't do it. This is honestly like breaking an addiction, please don't sabotage it. Think of all the years you have left to live? upwards of 40 years I am sure, not texting this person for awhile will be ok.

Those words are what are called breadcrumbs. They mean nothing. It is true that if they care they will find you.

 

Texting her will do nothing. Even if she does reply, it will only cause you more pain. It may not seem like it, but it hurts less to not contact her.

 

Wait until you see the counselor. I guarantee they will tell you the same thing.
