ChessPieceFace Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Of course. But the guys have charisma and (usually too much) confidence.
henderson14 Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 There is a woman out there somewhere for any guy. You will just have to pick from a smaller less desirable pool. There are women who will date guys in prison and drug dealers.
Author elctroNYC Posted September 28, 2013 Author Posted September 28, 2013 if I go back to Colombia I will have to wait 10 years to go back to USA. If I go back to Colombia, I will have to apply to go to other country.
miss_jaclynrae Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 The attitude of some people is disgusting. At any rate OP, I agree that first you should clear up your status. Look into visas and research the process heavily to see which kind of visa would be best and how to go about getting it. I wish you the best of luck. And to your original question, I think the right type of woman wouldn't have a problem with you not having a career at this point as it's for understandable reasons, but she most likely would have a problem with you not being a legal citizen. His reasons are understandable? In what world? If he had been an adult, he would have definitely figured this **** out WAY sooner. Not at the age of 30+, especially considering he has been here so long. Again... laziness.
Els Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I think it's admirable that you're your parents' caregiver. BUT. If you can take care of your parents while working two jobs, why can't you take care of them while having a career (which typically only involves one job)? I could understand if your career was, say, military, which would involve leaving them. But your major is computer science, you can get programming jobs nearby, or even via telecommute if you're good enough. Are we really getting all the pieces here?
