I called this girl I met when I was out and left a message. She texts me back 1.5 weeks later saying how she was sorry for not getting back to me and that we will plan something when she gets back in town. I said OK, let me know when youre back. Well 1.5 weeks later again I still don't hear anything, so I text her again. Well its over a week later and still no response. It would have been fine if she just didn't text me the first time, but its another to text me back over a week later telling me how sorry she was and that we would do something when she got back. Its just so inconsiderate and makes me so angry.
coolheadal Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Sounds like she doesn't mean what she said she would do. Sometime girls kinda forget what they tell you also. To them they are doing so much and really say anything just to get you going off their backs. Why don't you call her? If you get a nonsense method of a answer then you need to say okay later then. After that more on. You need someone that can pay attention do you and bet there for you. Not the other way around where your there for them but they're not there for you. Waiting game it out! Make the right move now! Take your life back into your hands!

No some people will not say anything to string you along so you don't drop them as they want to keep their contact lists of people in case of getting dropped by the person they like at the time. I don't buy that they are strictly cowards. In a sense yes. But it's better for them to have a bunch of people to string along so if the person they are pining after doesn't work out they get a longer list to go through to waste those peoples time till the next best thing or that "one" comes back.

It takes more effort to text someone 1.5 weeks later to tell them you are sorry than to just ignore the first call of someone they only met once. I wasn't a situation where we went on 2-3 dates and she owed me some type of breakup talk. The point is that she went out of her way to lie to me and string me along. Silence would have been perfectly OK with me. 1

Its just so inconsiderate and makes me so angry. She isn't interested. Sometimes inexperienced women do this because in their minds they are being nice are aren't really rejecting the man. However, if she was really interested, she wouldn't wait that long to get back to you. After she texted you to tell you that you two would plan something the next time she was in town, it was fine to text her back to let her know it was ok. However, you shouldn't have contacted her again unless she contacted you first. That girl is probably young and at the peak of her physical attractiveness, so she probably thinks that she can get away with this behavior forever. However, when she gets older, she will likely realize that she is no longer hot enough to get away with treating men like this. This girl is almost certainly really into herself! Never tolerate disrespect from a woman!

This is like applying for jobs, most will places will ignore you, and the few that respond might never even call like they promised. If we let that stop us, none of us would be employed. Keep moving.

I've never had a place reach out to me for an interview and then stop responding.
