Flirty texts from an ex

Hey all,

I've posted on here before, but oh the struggle continues. My ex girlfriend broke up with me in May, and we talked only a few times over the summer. We were each other's first loves, but we were both too immature for it to work out. I started my freshman year at the college where she is a sophomore earlier this month, and we had a run in right away. She was drunk and tried to hook up with me, but I didn't do anything and just tried to talk. It ended badly, and I left pretty upset. A week later I heard that she had had unprotected sex with someone she couldn't remember one night partying, so I texted her that night saying to be careful and that people cared about her. It was worded very kindly and didn't reference anything in particular, but she still got pretty mad with her response. Soo I stopped initiating contact, expecting her to want me gone for good. But then last week she contacted me through facebook chat asking about me, and we ended up talking for two hours. I know how she flirts, and her messages were definitely flirty once we started having a good conversation. No relationship/sexual stuff was brought up. Now I know I'm young, but I would really like to have another shot with this girl at some point. What's going on with her? Is this a good sign?

Please don't take this the wrong way but it sounds like she's pretty willing to give everyone a shot. She's called an ex for a reason, move on and save yourself future heartbreak, I know it's not what you want to hear.

I agree. I think you should move on and if she really likes you make her do the chasing.

I don't mind hearing it, sometimes it helps just as much to be shut down as it does to be given hope. If I should just move on/make her come to me, what do I do when she contacts me? I get no contact but it feels weird to just not respond
