Unglaublich Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 I've got a really sticky situation with this girl. Long story short, she's a good friend of my ex-girlfriend who dumped me not too long ago. Basically I got the feeling there is more to meet the eye with this girl. The first time I met her she came as a buddy with the ex and one of the first things she said was 'whenever you are in town, let me know and we can hang out'. Struck me as kinda odd because if you meet the love interest of a friend, you dont tell them to contact you to go out, right? Anyway, we've hung out with the ex and mutual friends and chatted at a distance. Cordial. Fast forward to 1 week ago where I planned to go to a party after I broke up with the ex (thinking nothing of the buddy) and she texted me and asked if I was going. I've been separated from the ex for a good 2 weeks or so. So we met up there and everyone had a great time. A few days later I thought I might pay her a visit and asked her if anything was happening. So we arranged to meet up and she offered her place to me to sleep over. I of course said yes. I get there and she scoops me up and we head back to her place to freshen up, and coordinate with our friends (hers and mine) who were also coming. I casually mention I want to try abstinence for a while. She retorted that she was single. We get to the first party and she hangs around me and looks at me, but she doesn't really touch me other than an occasional bump or nudge. I didn't feel anything. We were friendly with each other, she danced and flirted with guys, and I danced and flirted with girls. We party all night long, drop off/say goodbye to the buddies and head back to her place. I'm dead tired and crash on the couch, and she lingers before going to bed. She comes out the bedroom 4 hours later (said she couldn't sleep), makes a wonderful breakfast, we see the sights of the city and I go back home. Now, even though things were merely friendly the whole night, she was really engaged in me. At her place, the sexual tension was unmistakeable. It was so thick you could cut it with a knife but I thought the better of it. Taking me to the train station she said we definitely have to do it again. I agreed, we hugged and went our separate ways. Before I get home, she invited me to another party and I will in all likelihood stay at her place. Gonna wait a couple of days before I say yes. I like her as a friend but wouldn't be averse to extra benefits. Did she ask me out on a date? What can I expect here? I would be fine in her friend zone, but again there SEEMS to be something there.
