Irrevocable. Like I had been on life support, restricted and dependant, and the vital organ I'd been missing was suddenly there. Tied into every fiber of my being. Like being born again and taking my first breath and knowing I must keep breathing to keep living. Terrified and naive and not knowing what I was feeling I was feeling calm. Nonchalant as though my subconscious yawned and said "oh. OK. This is IT. What's for dinner"

 

I felt all of that at the same time but that doesn't begin to scratch the surface. I just KNEW.
