Hi Folks,

 

Just thought that I would throw this out there for a discussion. Infidelity has to exist as without infidelity there would be no fidelity. Just as much as good cannot exist without evil in the sense that, if there were no evil, people would take good for granted and place no value to it. It would have no meaning since people would not appreciate it for what it was. Similarly people would not value fidelity if there was no infidelity. It is because there is infidelity that people place such value on fidelity and think of it as such a good thing.

 

So what do you good folk think? Am I off my rocker or do I make some sense? Cheers!

Or in other words... virtue untested is not virtue.

 

Its easy to be faithful if you are on a desert island.

 

It's how we respond to temptation that tests our character and obliges us to manage our choices. So yes, I agree with you.
