Content Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 You just feel better about yourself and more confident plus Ive noticed lately alot more women paying attention to me then before. Im not talking working out 7 days a week for hours or being an adonis or roided up freak either im simply leaner and a little more muscular then before and women seem to notice, ive been complemented on my biceps a few times during the summer and while it was a little awkward for me because im not one who receives compliments well it was nice to hear lol. So if you want to feel better about yourself and at the same time become a little more attractive to females if youre struggling work out a little it can help alot in attracting somebody 3
Ruby Slippers Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Works for girls, too. I've always been pretty fit, but last summer I joined a competitive tennis league and started playing very actively again, as well as doing strength training and toning on the side. I got in the best shape I've been in since high school, maybe better, and I was feeling fantastic. I noticed immediate results in my confidence and looks, and attention from men took a big leap
FitChick Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I've been meaning to work a little harder because I have been lazy and just maintaining. My weight is fine but I want bigger, more shapely thighs. My legs look too skinny in tight pants. I'd also like to build up my forearms which also look skinny. I'm an ectomorph so that will be difficult. As the weather gets cooler, walking outside will be more enjoyable, too. People who have never exercised can start walking more. Take your car and make note of how far half a mile is from your home. Then walk there and back and you've done one mile. 1
fujidabruin Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Yes, amazing how the mind reacts to how the body functions. When you are enjoying physical exertion and working it into a weekly schedule it can really improve or maintain your mental well-being as well. My days of weight training 4 days a week have been replaced with physical activities like biking, hiking, rollerblading, and tennis. It has become more about stamina and energy level rather than looking good. I have also found that some minor adjustments to the diet is a great enhancer to the 'feeling good physical workout process'. I cut out about 90% of the foods I used to eat that contained significant amounts of white sugar and it has made a big difference.
ChessPieceFace Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I worked out 3 times a week and other than building a small amount of arm strength, nothing happened. And there was no weight loss at all.
Phoe Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I looooove working out It makes me stupidly happy, lol. 4-5 days a week. Today was leg and glute day. I'm laying here in bed stretching out my calves and hamstrings after all that lifting and it feels so good <3
