Text was "Happy Birthday, are you having a good day? :)"

Is it ok for me to reply. "I am, thank you"

But not reply to any message that follows that?

I don't want to ignore a birthday wish, I think that would be quite low. I am reading nothing into the message, it hasn't struck any emotion in me at all tbh. Just not sure of the best thing to do.

This has been asked a milllllllion times on ls.

Some say a simple " thank you"

Some say ignore

I said a simple " thanks" is enough.

But that's me.

Either a simple "thanks" or ignore it should be fine.

But, if you text a thanks and he texts back. Ignore it.

Meh... I say ignore.

My B-Day is coming up in a few weeks and I am curious to see if I get one. Highly, highly doubt it. She knows I have nothing to say, so she will probably just say F it...
