Is it a sign that an ex wants you back when you get a text message on a friday night after being broken up for 4 months saying "hi, just heard our song and asks how I am?" Then I respond the next day with "good and u" and she intantly replies "been working lots and asks what I am doing". She seems eager to tell me what she has been up to.

We have been on no contact for the entire time, but she calls or texts me once a week. Most of the time I don't respond. Oh, and she broke up with me. She is 22 and I am 25. I'm just curious if anyone else thinks this may be a sign.

Seems like a clue to me...

It could be a sign. Or it could be that she's lonley and wants someone to hang out with. I've been on both sides of the fence. The question that you should be asking is do you want to get back together.

that you are truly busy, and that if she is having second thoughts or is that she is just lonely...and say i dont have time to play games....

Do you think I should just not reply to anything at all? Would'nt that make her realize what she really feels?

Well.. IF you want to ignore her it could make her "feel" like she wants you more.. OR it could make her "feel" really pissed off.

How would you feel if a guy ignored you? Or, how would girls in general feel about this?

I guess it depends on what the motives are - if she wants to just talk and be cordial or if she is trying to get back

dude, it seems like a sign but I am convinced there is something in the air that makes 20-something women (save for some of the ladies here) insane and things that seem logical aren't with them.

I say you just ask her what her deal is. Don't waste the time trying to figure out.

I'm just not all about playing games.. so with that said.. If I was trying to rekindle something with an EX and he made the decision to "wait it out" OR "ignore me" then I would leave him the hell alone and move on.

I just don't have the time, energy or desire to mess around with crap like that.. but thats just me.

And just a little update to the situation. I have heard that she has been seeing a guy for a month or better so it is possible that she has a b/f too. I just don;t know why she would be trying to make communication with me if she is with someone else.
