BklynGuy Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 I used to be on this site a lot last year, but havent checked in in a while. I need advice. I met this new girl on my job. Shes cute, fun, attractive, and young. She going on 21, Im 25. She lives with her ex bf and claims shes moving out soon. We have been dating for about a month and Im concerned about her living situation and her maturity level. Im no longer looking for booty calls or fun dates. I dont want to waste my time, energy, and emotions on a fruitless relationship. Been there! Done that! My feelings for her are much stronger than I thought they'd be at this point. I want to find the right girl and have the whole package. Not a fling. I talk to her about it and she always tells me nice things but I doubt her tremendously. I broke up with my ex of 4 1/2 years last year and wonder if im fully over it. The ex really broke my heart and im scared sh**less that its gonna happen 2 me again. Friends tell me not to compare everyone to my ex, but I cant help it at this point. This is partially why I like this new girl so much. Shes so different and much nicer and more thoughtful than my ex was. Some of the little things she does make me wonder why I stayed with the ex all those years. What do you think? Any input will be greatly appreciated.
