Can working out overcome an unattractive face?

Some people are seriously into weight lifting (like me) not because I'm out for an attraction factor to get girlies, but because I have a love for the sport and its been an integral part of my life since I was twelve. Its something I do for me, no one else. I hope you can get a lot out of it, most find that they do. It helps you both physically and mentally.

Its important to point out how working out regularly actually sharpens and raises your own self-confidence and esteem. If you're talking about an attraction factor, then good self-esteem and confidence is definitely a priority quality to have.

Surely, even though its not what you'd refer to as a "requirement", being well-built and functionally strong (its not just the looks) can add to being attractive as it shows you care about yourself in more than just one way. There are some who don't care anything about their morale or personable qualities and only care about being ripped so they can have women stare at their six packs even though they may suck horribly at interacting with and establishing decent rapport with females.

Then, there are some who have amazing morale and personable qualities, solid character, and yet do not take care of themselves physically - fitness doesn't carry any weight to them. Opinions will vary, but taking care of your body is certainly critical in many ways. I for one, highly value my fitness and health. It goes a lot further than just big guns and washboard abs. You get a ton from exercise, whether it be daily cycling, swimming, or hardcore weight lifting or bodybuilding - both mentally and physically.

Heck, look at what Jack Lalanne accomplished - two hour intense workouts into his nineties...Amazing person.

I noticed what Castle said, and must agree to an extent; I noticed the same with my face, more masculinity comes through after some time has elapsed. It makes you appear more conditioned and husky.

To wrap up, yeah definitely keep up with working out. Remember that girls will obviously always love a good, honest person as that is what can make or break a relationship. But do not forget that the workouts are certainly a positive thing to maintain and make a habit out of.

If my face is unattractive is it really gonna matter if i have a decent body? or will some women overlook a bad face if the bodys decent?
Working out will improve the appearance of your face. Obviously it won't change your facial bone structure, but your face will become more lean and chiseled because of lower body fat
