With the recent "My vicarious foray into POF" thread, it's funny, when I had gotten responses or even dates from the online dating venue.

 

Each time I had asked these women what made them respond to my profile much less actually willing to meet up with me.

 

They really didn't say much about my appearance at all, but upon comparison with other men I not only sounded normal but even looked the part

 

"Normal and Nice" is what they described me.

 

Apparently, most of the men that had contacted up until me were "what's up" or "U R Hot" short phrases.

 

In appearance, they looked scruffy or strange looking.

 

Then I came into the scene and they are seriously relieved they met someone "Normal" for a change.

 

So, something CAN be said for "Normal" lol
