KCCK Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 in a 2 years relationship and got dumped by my gf 6 weeks ago.. she dump me for another guy from her hometown.. After trying so hard to move on, i finally got the courage to block and unfriend her on Facebook, delete her phone numbers, remove all her stuffs today but somehow I am feeling very troubled inside.. I kinda feel regret/sad for deleting her from FB and at the same time feel glad as well.. mix feelings.. is it normal?

And it is normal to take a while to get the courage to do that as you said. Took courage because it hurts to do, so yeah, very normal
Author KCCK Posted September 14, 2013 Author Posted September 14, 2013 thanks for the reply.. but now i started to miss her and feel kinda sad and disappointed... because i can no longer see her and know what she is up to... too many thoughts running through my head... i know i shouldnt but i will try to continue to move on and NC...
melell Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I honestly think this is why it is so hard. It is the point where reality sets in, and letting go starts to happen. Just hang in there 1
KarmaComa Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 It takes a lot of inner strengh to do what you did. You did right. KC 1
OverThinker72 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I did all the removing, deleting the day he ended it. Everything went!!! It is hard and perfectly normal you feel this way. I do think doing it sooner rather than later is much better though, but we all deal with break ups and letting go differently. You have done the right thing and things will get better for you. 1
Author KCCK Posted September 14, 2013 Author Posted September 14, 2013 (edited) thanks everybody... really appreciate the encouragement... now it is time to just move on and focus on my career, other things and my future. Praying hard that I will stay strong to face all the sadness, challenges and memories flashback. Hopefully I will be able to find someone better and really love me in the future.. =) Edited September 14, 2013 by KCCK 2

I went this route too. It really is for the best. The longer you hold on, the longer you hold on to false hope. You don't need to know what this girl is doing. It's only going to hurt, trust me. I cant even look at my exes picture without getting worked up and anxious. Go full NC, delete them from your life, like they did to you. Stay strong!
