initiating contact and online dating

so if i met someone online, how can i initiate phone conversation without being clingy or looking insecure?

 

i only text once a day (been only a day since the exchange of phone numbers).

 

talked on the phone once and agreed to talk again. but she got busy.

 

is it a good idea to just go silent for a day and initiate it again?

If you are into someone and they are into you then you should be itching to not talk to them a lot. If you are talking about 1 text a day that is just not enough.

 

What does going silent get you?! Nothing! What is the point of playing games when clearly she is not. If you have not met yet and you have been in contact a while you need to make a move before its too late.

Have you even asked the person to meet up? For drinks or something casual?

 

If you texted and they haven't texted back, just wait. If they never text back? There's your answer. Just keep on looking. So many people for OLD.

 

I ran into this plenty while OLD. I would get a number. Text a few times. Maybe a phone convo. And then poof. Gone. So the trick is to fill up that pipeline! Always be e-mailing.
