I live in Austin, TX and my girlfriend lives in San Diego, Cal. We've been in a long distance relationship for 5 months now. I plan on going to see in 3 months from now. One thing really worries is that She is going to go to a university and I don't know if I should just let her go

Sadly you really have no choice whether or not you should let her go. She's an adult she'll do what she feels fit. I will assume there's a bit of a trust issue here, but I could be wrong. If I'm not wrong.. in a LDR trust is one of the primary factors on making it work just like any relationship, but it's a bigger deal when you're in an LDR. Support her decision, it'll go a lot better compared to telling her not to go to college to better herself for the future..

Anyway, I guess you'd be like 3 hours away from her wherever she's going to be. Not bad. About missing out on college "life", that also depends on what kind of girl she is. Did she have many bfs so far? If she did, she might know how it feels being with others, and be very motivated to be with you. While if you are her first real bf, then I understand your concerns.
