amarety Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 So there's this guy at this fellowship I go to. We've known each other for a while but it's only recently that we've been getting to know each other better. I think I've caught him looking at me twice- the moment I caught his eye he turned away, clearly embarrassed. Recently, I offered to drive him to a meeting but he had to cancel due to illness. I offered to bring him some food but he said he was good, then went on to apologize for not being able to go to the meeting with me, told me the doc told him to rest, etc. Anyways, guess what I'm getting at is, wtf do I do next? I think this guy may be interested(?) but is shy?
ja123 Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Invite him for a coffee after the fellowship meeting.
Author amarety Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Are you sure that isn't too forward at this stage?
ja123 Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 It's pretty forward to offer to go to the guy's house and bring food, no? Just be casual about it. Say, "Hey, let's go for a coffee." If he says he can't, then say, "How about another time? No pressure, but if you feel like it just give me a call." Then leave the ball in his court. Don't approach again. See what he does.
