candie13 Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 No sleep for 2 nights the days before, get into bed with a sleeping pill and sleep for 24 hours. When you're up, there you go, it passed. Stupid option, obviously. One thing is for sure - do not spend it by yourself. Have friends or relatives around and schedule fun things to do. You are making this big. It's just a day like any other day... work on making it less important, less big. be strong. 3

Something fun and unique, maybe something you've always wanted to do before but never gotten the chance to do. And spend the time with other people, your best friends and family. Not sure if the day passed yet for you, but let us know how it goes 1

reddragon588 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 If it is possible, spend on yourself- whether it is going on a vacation or getaway, treating yourself to a nice meal, or buying something nice. Don't bankrupt yourself obviously, but feel free to spend a little more on yourself then you do on a normal day and consider it pampering. If you don't want to spend, find a really fun activity. Maybe go for a hike, or go to the beach, or have a picnic. Make sure that you spend it with friends! Or maybe even meet some new people on that day- try Meetup.com to find some new people! I've been posting this a lot lately because I've been using it lately and have met some new friends and it has really improved my mood.
