But because I had things going on in my life that were a problem at the time I had to turn her down a lot and what not. She eventually stopped talking to me cause I think she figured I wasn't interested. I contacted her recently and set up dinner with her and the night went great. She was even staring at me giving me this completely into you look. Neaar the end though I mentioned I was interested in her and she hit me with "I think we should just be friend right now" but after she could tell i didn't exactly like this answer she said "Im not saying we can never bemore later". She still wanted to hold hands and cuddle and crap though. Anyway she also still persued and was into hanging out. I decided to test the waters again after a week and asked her to go to dinner then a sun set and she said shed love to. I figured if she was trying to friend zone me she would have avoided this. It was fun again and she cuddled with me as we watched the sun set. Then at one point I just decided to go for the kiss and while its almost like she gave me her cheek for a half a second she eventually turned to face me and we kissed. When I backed away she had a huge smile so I smiled back and then she said "I was making her face red". Then again later that night it seemed like she was coming in for another kiss(I may have miss judged this) and we kissed but this time she kept it closed mouth. This makes me think that she may have just let me kiss her to keep things from being awkward. She also asked me if I was free Thursday. I know she saw some guys during the summer but I guess they were jusat after sex and didnt want to be seen in public with her, so she dropped them. Anyway what you all think, has she lost the interest she had months ago and just values me as a friend? I know shes going through a lonely time. Or is there something actually there? Also how should I procced Thursday, it looks like she wants to come over to watch a movie thanks

She's being very careful about opening up because she doesn't want that to happen all over again. Her wanting to spend time with you is a very good sign especially after you went for the kiss which ...let's face it, friends don't really do. Don't think about it too much and just go where the night takes you. Let things happen on their own and you may be surprised. Good luck!

I'm just concerned that she let me kiss her because she didn't want to make it awkward or lose me as a friend, cause I know she values me at least as a friend

Heck, I wouldn't even let a man hold my hand to keep it from being awkward. If I don't like you or just see you as a friend, under no circumstances am I going to cross that line and I think that could be said for most if not all people.

And see I'm totally the same way. frankly unless I'm into a girl I don't like being touched at all. But thats just me. We are both in our early 20's, and idk what it is about my generation, but the normal rules about what you do and dont do with those you like is way out of wack. I have had girls in the past cuddle, hold hands and kiss as well ansd they wanted nothing to do with me. They just were lonely at the time and wanted the attention. So I hope you are all right but idk
