I Know I've Done The Right Thing.

My ex recently contacted me on my birthday to say he missed me and wanted to give us another try. Throughout our entire relationship there were always warning signs that I chose to ignore, e.g, I was always the one who apologised after small rows just to make peace ( he would sulk and give me the silent treatment ), it drove me crazy. He would disappear for days at a time not replying to my texts etc.

 

During one of our recent conversations he told me that during our "Break Up" he still checked my facebook page to look at his favourite photo of me everytime he was on there. The last time we talked he told me that he wanted to take things slow and that I was being too pushy because i wanted him to say "Hello" to me once a day to me !!!!. He has now gone silent again for 4 days now. I decided tonight that he no longer deserved my love and attention anymore.

 

I decided to "Block" him on facebook so that he can no longer look at my profile or see my photo's. I know some of you might think I'm acting in a childish and petty way but surely giving someone the silent treatment is just as bad if not worse. He dumped me in the first place and i stupidly took him back. This is the second time he's messed me around and hurt me. I have decided that enough is enough. I have know that I deserve someone who is going to respect me and love me and act like a man and not a sulky child.

 

I feel empowered now and by blocking him I have sent him the message that I won't be treated like a piece of rubbish by him anymore. There's plenty more fish in the sea and i deserve better..
