loveandstuff Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 First off, sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm new here so that's my excuse. My boyfriend and I were sitting talking one night and the conversation turned to children. We both want kids, but not right now. We've only been dating for 7 months and he's still in graduate school. We just aren't in the situation that's ideal for a baby. However, while we were talking, he started coming up with names for our future children. He was really getting into it and it took me by surprise. He even want so far as to talk about us married and what our children would look like. I guess what I want to know is if guys talk about babies, names and marriage with just any girlfriend or if that means he can picture those things happening with me?

This is not uncommon. Agreed. A couple of guys have done the same with me. I'm glad I didn't take it too seriously, because neither of them was serious!
