tooslowatlove Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 (edited) Not complaining - things went great. But since I've been sharing my problems, I thought I'd share my success as well. Met a very nice woman on OLD, and we met for dinner Saturday night. We seemed to click very readily - we have similar interests - we're both nerds, avid readers, both like to write (similar genres, even). Before dinner was over we were talking about going to an event I mentioned next month, although we want to get together again before then. After dinner, we still wanted to hang out, so we went to the nearest bookstore. Neither of us wanted to keep feeding the parking meters. There we had coffee, chatted and discovered we have even more in common. We browsed the books, and I bought her one by an author she likes. We ended the date when the bookstore closed. We've emailed back & forth a bit since Saturday, and are trying to figure out schedules for our next date. We already have "a" next date planned, but I don't want to wait for that show. This woman is great - fun, interesting, and very pretty. Even if dating doesn't work out, I'm hoping to get a good friend out of this. Edited September 9, 2013 by tooslowatlove

Just have to be patient with the dates you set up and wait for them to roll around. But it's always a good thing when you meet someone you can't wait to see again. How'd the date end? Hug? Kiss? Handshake? Moustache ride? Indian tribal dance? 1
