bigj0110 Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 (edited) So I'm in a relationship with somebody that lives 3 hours away from me in the same state, we have been dating for a while and even met in person multiple times. Recently we've been getting stronger in our relationship to the point we were talking about her moving in with me. But randomly out of the blue for no reason whatsoever 3 weeks ago she just completely disappeared on me. but one morning I did get a text message from her saying "hello" I replied shortly after that and I have never gotten a reply back at all days later. With all this being said what should I do? am I not seeing the bigger picture that she does not want to be with me anymore? I'm just completely lost because I never had somebody just randomly disappear on me for no reason. I appreciate all the help I can get thanks in advance Edited September 8, 2013 by bigj0110
ThisGal Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Some may say you're missing your sanity. You should not move someone into your home after knowing her for only "a while." What is a while and how many times have you two actually met face-to-face? 'Multiple times' does not specify that. And vice versa, she should not be moving in. Luckily you two were only 3 hours apart, you two could have seen each other at least once a week so there should be no real rush to close the gap if a strong connection hasn't been established yet. No one will know what happened but her. Maybe she realized that she wasn't as ready about moving as she thought she was, even if it is a move within the same state it is still uprooting your life to be somewhere else; away from family and loved ones. Perhaps she thought if you're this easy to move her in you have prob moved other women in with you in the past. Maybe she already has a man back home and unwilling to move, saw the relationship was getting too strong and backed out and too pathetic to let you know she's no longer interested in a relationship. Whatever the case I would stop initiating contact. She's been gone for almost a month. It is very inconsiderate and rude of her but there isn't anything you can do at this point but to move on with your life. Sorry you are dealing with this.

And to answer your question we seen each other over 25 times at least(not keeping count) and she has sleep over my house most of time we see each other. Also, we have been dating for a year and some change. Also, I have an update I was able to talk to her yesterday before I saw your post, so after she completely disappeared for 3 weeks she told me that she took the relationship serious before she disappeared, but every time I asked her why she disappeared she would ignore it and never answer the question at all. Then to top it off she randomly just disappeared again on me with out saying bye and as of the next morminig I never heard from her again. So with all this being said I'm going to take your advice and stop trying to talk to her or talk to her if she talkes to me and move on. Edited September 8, 2013 by bigj0110
ThisGal Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Oh OK, a little over a year is fine then to take it to that step, she's just not taking the relationship as seriously as you are. Oh well. She may regret it later. Def do not initiate contact. Relationships are hard enough as is, no one needs someone who wants to complicate things. Communication and trust are everything in a relationship. She's lacking both. You need someone who respects and cares about you enough to not leave you wandering in the cold. Good luck! 1

With all this being said what should I do? Really? You claim you had a (non-clearly identified) relationship, but she's not your girlfriend. Right? You never said "my girlfriend". She goes MIA and you don't even pick up the phone and see what happened? She sent a text, and you didn't pick up the phone to see what was on? I don't understand, but it doesn't sound like a serious relationship.
