l2hvn Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 if a guy hands out his home phone # rather than the typical cell #, what does that mean?
alphamale Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 it means nothing. actually getting the home # is BETTER than getting the cell #. He is probalby busy and does not want you to call on his cell at a bad time.
Nocturnalkitee Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 This person must really like you. I agree with alphamale, it's better to have the home number.
Pocky Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 You got a number and you're analyzing why he gave you his home number and not his cell? Way too much energy invested in this line of thought. Just call the number.
blind_otter Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Originally posted by DJ_Dork Uh, getting a home phone or cell phone is not better than each other. Getting any number is always a good thing. I dunno, I give my cell # out to random people but I give my home number out VERY rarely.
Queen B Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Giving out a cell number pretty much means that someoene can contact you at ANY time. The cell could be a company phone so he doesn't want to use it for personal things just like you only give your work number to family and close friends. Giving out a home number means you might actually have contact with other people in his life...(i.e. parents, roomates, girlfriends, children hahahaah) That said you have a phone number get your ass in gear and call him!
packersgirl Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 I give a guy my home number over my cell number because I NEVER answer my house line and I ALWAYS answer my cell. But then again, I'm not a huge fan of talking on the phone.
DutyPaid Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 i am rather confused what is the point of this question? how old are you?
