I have recieved alot of great advise....I am going to give him some space and wait to see if he was just in a funk or if this is permanent. We were supposed to go on a work cruise together this Friday. His new boss had invited me. Knowing this do you think he will be on the cruise and realize wow this would be better if my girlfriend was here? Also I have been considering sending him gummy bears in the mail (they are his favorite) should there be a note in there? I wouldnt send them till like saturday so they get there monday or tuesday by fed ex.

I know things like that happen, but Roger Lodge is right about how one should avoid getting pickled on first dates. The same could be said about any date, I suppose, especially when the relationship is new. Take Care. I do hope it all turns out well for the both of you!
