She is severely codependent, but not beyond manipulation to actually bring the kids into their marital problems, which is very low class and a huge no no. He responds to problems by using sex as an escape. He will keep clinging and manipulating, he will respond by continually cheating on her. I am very sorry about your loss, but take this opportunity and run from that smoldering pile of dysfunction.
