When it comes to dating, relationship, etc., is it always now or never? In other words, if something doesn't work out now, is it NEVER gonna work out?

When it comes to individual relationships, yes. I wished more people realized that as opposed to staying in bad relationships thinking it's the norm or breaking up and then getting back with the same loser they broke up with.

But, overall, if you are not successful in your dating life, it doesn't mean that you will always be. There are plenty of stories of people turning things around.

It's awfully subjective. There isn't any real way of knowing.

I remember one time during my first year of college, there was this girl I would see working in town and always wanted to strike up a conversation with her. I never did.

About two years later, I saw her out at a bar with a friend. I was with a friend. I was in a good mood and... I didn't do it. I chickened out. Was so mad at myself for passing it up again.

Following year I'm out AGAIN with some friends and there she is. Again. Finally this time, I went over and cracked a joke about a camera she was holding. We hit it off, exchanged numbers, and we were with one another for a while until we mutually parted ways. We're good friends now and still keep in touch.

So to put in perspective, I had two "now or never" moments which I passed up. Eventually I got another chance. I wouldn't use this as advice, just saying that it's subjective.
