pteromom Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Blech. Do not like it. Nothing wrong with trimming if someone is very hairy, or even waxing if they have hair in undesirable areas like on their back or shoulders. But shaving? NO NO NO.
CarrieT Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Hate it, hate it, hate it... I like my men to be manly = hirsute.

pteromom Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Right because shaving is so drastic compared to waxing. Shaving makes stubble. Holding onto a stubbly back is unpleasant. Back hair doesn't bother me, but if it bothered him, I'd rather he wax it than shave it.
NGC1300 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I shave everything except my head. I just like the feel, and think it looks better. Don't understand why people would think I'm gay; it's just hair. 3

FitChick Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I don't like hairy monkey men. A little hair on arms and legs and chest is okay. Back? God, no! If you are getting rid of it, I'd prefer you used laser instead of shaving, to prevent rough stubble. I understand competitive swimmers have to shave their bodies.
darkmoon Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 arm pit hair is gross ugly, sorry, but there it is, sweaty and untrimmed 1
joe86 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 It's nice reading this. I've had hair almost everywhere since about 15 & as a teenager convinced myself girls didn't like it to the extent I've got it. I got my back waxed about a year ago but I'd never get rid of any of it again. It was well on its way back after about a week! If girls don't like it, they don't like me 1
Author affairaddict Posted September 3, 2013 Author Posted September 3, 2013 Haha I said same thing. Gay. He plays football he says that's what they do! But I love hairy legs and underarms haha
Harradin Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I shave everything except my head. I just like the feel, and think it looks better. Don't understand why people would think I'm gay; it's just hair. Agreed, although I do it to keep me cool more then anything as I get hot very easily. I'd rather be comfortable then sweating bucketloads! 1
Joyvke Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 In all fairness. I loved ruffling through my ex his chest hair, he was very hairy. I wouldn't mind it if he had shaved his back hair though, that wasn't so nice. Though guys should just have hair in my opinion .
MrCastle Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 In the summer I definitely shave my pits. I don't have much body hair on my chest/back so it doesn't need to be shaved. I would trim it for sure if I was a hairy guy. The only place I think shaving is unacceptable is arms and legs. There's no reason for it and I think it looks quite masculine to have hair in those areas. Hair on chest and back is gross in my opinion. I'd rather not have it.
NGC1300 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I shave my arms. I lift weights and have low BF%, so it really makes the definition and vascularity stand out. I guess it's vanity, what can I say. I've never taken a razor to my legs, but I trim it down periodically because I feel I have thick body hair.
ooglesnboogles Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Agreed, although I do it to keep me cool more then anything as I get hot very easily. I'd rather be comfortable then sweating bucketloads! Yeah, I trim to keep cool. Before I was dating my girlfriend, I trimmed above shorts-level a little more than I would now that someone's seeing it on a regular basis I trim my arm hair when I remember cause when it gets long it looks really weird, but when kept around 1/4", it makes my arms look good. Trimming around the boys definitely helps to keep things cool
It's Just Me Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 My boyfriend does a lot of manscaping, especially around the, uh, playground. He likes the feel, and claims he doesn't get as sweaty and stinky. It makes no difference to me, personally, whether he does it or not. I have no preference, but it should be noted that I'm of the older generation, where a healthy shrubbery was fairly normal back in the day. 2
todreaminblue Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Ladies what do you think? Honestly?? ummm just no 1
