The last thing he needs is a needy, whiny girlfriend to add to his list of worries. There's 101 reasons why he isn't sleeping well, is sick to his stomach, or isn't ready/willing/able to talk. And, NEWS FLASH: 100 of them have *nothing* to do with you but everything with him doing his job, staying alive, and getting through his overseas assignment. What *you're* going through is NOTHING compared to what he's enduring. Get a grip on yourself, quit being so self-centered, and stop acting like a child. And while you're at it, please read through what you've written before you post. Most of the time it's virtually impossible to decipher what it is you're talking about. Best, TMichaels 1
ThisGal Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 LOL I agree with the above post. Well said. Give him his time. He obviously has a lot to deal with right now. Be considerate and stop stressing him out.

Deployments are tough on both parties and it take's a real someone to get through it intact. That being said when my ex left, I was heartbroken and felt I couldn't function. It's all about the way you handle it. We made it a romantic situation as much as we could. We would write letters even though we skyped daily, I would send him care packages just because I wanted too not because he'd asked or I felt I had too. I know your scared, he's probably scared too. Try and talk it our and try and make the best of it. It's a long time and the least you need to be doing over there is worrying about this. Keep safe xxx
saltyfishhead666 Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Hold on... Whose deployed here because she states it's "her deployment" Please don't tell me this is a dependa story SMDH!
TMichaels Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Hold on... Whose deployed here because she states it's "her deployment" Please don't tell me this is a dependa story SMDH! Read her other thread. It's the boyfriend that's been deployed -- not her. But, good luck to anyone trying to figure that out given what she's written. Plus, apparently this forum is for girls only. Now, I'm SMDH. Best, TMichaels 1
