YouChia Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Hi guys, I am just curious what do most of the LDRs do when you are physically together. My gf and I see each other once every two week. When we are together we usually spend time at our house watching tv shows or just chat and not really doing anything and we are recently a little bit tired of the pattern. We want to enjoy our precious time together more. We sometimes do go to some shopping mall window shopping. Do you guys have the same problem when you and your partner meet you usually stay at home doing nothing but chat? If not, what do you guys do together?
HeavenOrHell Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 We do the same things as a local couple would do, depends on individual taste/hobbies/interests. Eat out together, or stay in and cook together, watch movies, go out to visit places, go for walks, play backgammon, meet up with friends or family, care for my animals together, if he's at work I'll do housework or cook for when he gets back, go shopping, just the usual stuff. smoky eyes Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 We always went for breakfast on at least one of the days, followed by long walks around the city, and took lots of pictures. The picture taking was great because it was both a free hobby and a remembrance of each weekend. If we spent the weekend together we would usually try and have one night of going out and doing something (dinner, bar with friends, theatre, whatever) and one quieter evening of drinking a bottle of wine sitting on the sofa and chatting.
ThisGal Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Comedy clubs (I enjoy watching stand-up comedians), go to a movie theater, ice skating, dancing, word search puzzles (compete), cook together, eat, massages, good conversations, take pictures, go to a museum, zoo, amusement park, anything!
justwhoiam Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Breakfast together at some nice place, brunch on a Sunday in Manhattan, dinner cooked by me, lunch... a walk in the park, listening to music, singing, I made him promise he'll dance for me next time we meet (quite soon)... Taking pictures, taking a ferry boat, going to his workplace, walking to work together, taking trains, going to the beach, taking cars, driving around in his car, grocery shopping and going to malls/stores too, showing me around, cuddling, kissing, etc.................. Watching tv, reading, giving him a massage, and lots of other things that would be too long to list really. And there are lots more I'd like to do and they are now on my to-do list: going to a drugstore, going to the movies, visiting a lighthouse, unfortunately I'm just unlucky with drive-in theaters (always down when I visit him). I guess for the fun of it, we should go to some drive-in restaurant. And I'll try to put in some history too. And I'd like to see a flash mob live, and so much more. I'd never get bored with him. And I guess he'd never get bored with me.
