....and after his unexpected invite earlier this past week and lots of thought the past few days, I think I'm in a place to tackle this in such a way that I can just be friends with him.

Well, it was interesting. I actually enjoyed his company and went into it with no expectations. No talk about our failed history, just laughs and nice conversation.
