headinthecloud Posted August 29, 2013 Share Posted August 29, 2013 Firstly, thank you to everyone on here who takes the time to share their stories of struggles and successes. You've all been tremendous in helping me get through this BU. I've been 7wks NC, with the exception of emailing him 3wks ago about him returning my things (which he never did). I just woke up from a dream where he reached out to me to see if we could meet - but when we did meet (in the dream) I once again went back to "taking care of him", making sure he was ok, which was the reason he wanted to meet (...dream only). He, on the otherhand, was his typical narcissistic self. Moving on is so hard - even when you know it's not right. I'm trying to let go but just when I think I've started to, this happens - I dream of him. Thanks for letting me share my story and I hope to share my successes with you soon. The good news is they WILL stop. Just gonna take a while. Eight years together for me, little over a year post BU, and I seldom, if ever dream of her, yet I know that terrible snap back to reality once you wake up. Believe me I know. Omei Posted August 30, 2013 Share Posted August 30, 2013 Well, im doing well in my dreams im happy, didn't mean to scare you guys when I wake up there pain is there but it passes you will be happy to know it does NOT effect my day anymore tho.
