Sorry to hear that dude. You know in this type of situation we all wish we had been wrong. But it's better to know the truth than to live a lie. If you want to carry on the relationship then read my previous post (at the bottom of the last page), it's even more relevant now. You need to set out the ground rules to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Thanks for all the posts. Got bad news, mainly as a result of the responses here. They got to my wife and she spilt the beans that she did have a proper affair.

 

I am gutted.

 

Too tired to really talk anymore. My thoughts are with my kids.

 

Not jumping to any conclusions, and not ruling out trying to work things out. I would really love to work things out.

 

Take your time in making decisions.

 

Make sure you are drinking water, eating small meals, getting some exercise, and see your doctor if you have trouble sleeping or feel depressed.

 

If you do the things I said, plus more, it is possible.
