She seems to care about me, raves to her friends and family about me,etc. I really like her and we're both strong Christ-following people. The only problem is I think she is closed off emotionally, through being hurt in the past. We see each other once maybe twice a week, but other than that I will never get any text,phone communication,etc. I have to initiate that, and even then it's delayed in return to the point I don't bother texting her because I'll just feel rejected when I wait an entire day for a response. I'm very committed to her but it gets difficult when you go 3-4 days without hearing a single thing from someone. I can get really upset over this, but then when we hangout, it's perfectly fine. I texted her today, still haven't gotten a response, and am really ready to prepare an ultimatum for her explaining my need for more attention. What advice would you guys give? what can I do better?
Philosoraptor Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I'd start by asking how much communication is good for her. Then let her know what you'd like out of the relationship. You either find a way to compromise so both are happy, or move on and find someone that can meet your communication need.
