suntopiaview Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 My ex-girlfriend broke up with me after 6 years. She holds a lot of resentment towards because of neglect throughout the relationship. For the last 3 weeks I tried to work things out with her but to no avail. She wants me to let her go. She also likes another guy and chats with him on a daily basis. She hasn't gone on any dates, but has met him once about the time we broke up. She has stated she is confused, she needs time, doesn't want a relationship, wants me to move on, we can only find each other if we lose each other, etc. I decided to go NC. I told her I wasn't going to contact her and that I was moving on. Clear my mind, focus myself, and give her the time to figure out what she wants. So I did. After 2 days, I get a message from her: Will you call me? Do you understand what I meant from the beginning? Even if I wanted to work this out with you or had something I wanted to tell you, you're impossible to reach. You're never there. ANY THOUGHTS? P.S Keep in mind, when we were dating for 6 years, at the very least we talked on the phone every single day. She just contacted me a lot more as I am more independent.

In this case the fact that she is talking or even met with someone right after a break up so quickly is a slap in the face. F** that. If she was confused for other reasons than I'd get it but the fact there is another guy in the picture and that she is having second thoughts about you due to him... THAT DOES NOT DESERVE A RESPONSE BACK. Let sleeping dogs lie

"Even IF I wanted to work this out" the "even if" should tell you that she still doesn't want to. So, why bother. She still not interested in coming back so don't waste your time. I would continue with NC. If she really, really, REALLY needed to speak with you, she knows where you live.
