Jord11 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 It's been since 6 months not one word! I'm trying to let go, but I just can't stop, I loved her, loved her family, she just left saying she didn't love me anymore and she was gone, I want to forget I just want to stop thinking about her, I still can't imagine dating someone else and feel the Same way, she was everything too me

That's not a very compassionate way to breakup. 1

But that's ok. I have an ex that we broke up over 4 years ago, and I had a 3 year relationship in between, but I still think about her on occasion. I found out the other day she is engaged, and while that is awkward for me, it does not sting. So while you won't forget, you will get over the pain.

I agree, the pain is pretty much gone, but the missing part is still there
Vinsanity1307 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I feel you man..My ex said the same thing to me through a text message after 5 years.... almost 7 weeks ago. It hurts and I dont seem to be getting better or does it seem to be getting any easier...I am there with you man.....
kat1012 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I don't think you will ever forget. But one day, the pain will be gone and when you look back, you don't feel angry and sad anymore but thankful for the happy memories you have shared with her.
