henderson14 Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) So I went out with this girl from OKQ. Date went decent, but nothing super obvious that she was head over heels for me. Well I called her and she didn't get back to me after 3 days, so then I texted her. She responded that night or a day later. She said she was busy the rest of the week and we coudl do something the following week. I texted her a day ago and still nothing again. I keep forgetting how many other guys she is probably dating right now off that site, and thats what she is probably "busy" doing, but she is still trying to find out if any of them are better than me? I always wonder, if someone is so busy that they don't have time for a date for a whole week, why are they even using OLD. I keep thinking she is going to flake on me and am just waiting for it. How many guys do you girls usually date from these sites at once? Edited August 26, 2013 by henderson14
Mascara Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 She's not busy, she's just not interested. Move on. If she wants to contact you again, she knows how. 2

If she's not interested then why would she respond and say she could go out the next week. She would have just not responded at all.
SugarLips72 Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I am on OK cupid and if I like someone they get priority over someone I have not met. I have had my ad up for about 4 or 5 weeks and met 2 guys. My ad blew up this weekend so I might have another date but I am a single mom and my time is limited. I do not have time to date all these guys. If she does not have kids then she is probably making excuses and not interested.
Star Gazer Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Ask her for a specific date, time, date idea. Her response will tell you what you need to know. Right now, it's too vague.

If your not interested, then you would just not respond at all since we've only met once for 1.5 hrs. Its not like we've been out a bunch of times or she would ever see me again. Anyways, I texted her last night about date options and a day that would work. She prefers texting.
365daysgone Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 And this is my problem with these websites. Think of a bulk candy store. Do you know how many flavours of candies those places have? You are only one my friend. Prepare to share. It is hard to swallow, I know but this is how these sites work...at least on the girls end (cause the guys never get any replies)

365daysgone Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 OK. But why make excuses at all? Thats my point. If she was not interested then yes...either no responce or leading you on by saying "Im busy" with no intention of ever seeing you again. Pathetic girls cannot just say "no". 2. Of course she prefers texting. Girls get to hide behind a screen that way and avoid saying no directly to you.
WP4046 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 If she's not interested then why would she respond and say she could go out the next week. She would have just not responded at all. Because some women feel the need to be polite when they are not interested
kaylan Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 And this is why you always need to spin plates and stay occupied in the field. With the advent of OLD, a lot of women have short attention spans with guys nowadays.
Author henderson14 Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 Well I'll post if I hear back from her.

If she was busy on Tuesday, and she was interested, she would reply stating "Sorry, I have plans on Tuesday, how about Thursday though?". Not "I am busy". Stop texting, move on.
paperboy48 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 at least on the girls end (cause the guys never get any replies) I dont agree with this. I think that is a pretty generalized statement. I get replies and I know of other guys who do, as well.
